Taran Tactical Innovations Base Pad STVB-4G02 | 2011 Magazine Extension +2 Rounds 9mm Bright Blue

The Taran Tactical Innovations Base Pad STVB-4G02 is a premium magazine extension engineered specifically for 2011-style double-stack magazines chambered in 9mm and 38 Super. This high-performance base pad adds +2 rounds of 9mm while featuring a striking anodized Bright Blue finish. Manufactured by Taran Tactical Innovations, a leader in competition-grade firearm accessories, the STVB-4G02 delivers increased capacity, faster reloads, and a bold, eye-catching appearance that stands out on the range.

Designed for competitive shooters who run 2011 platforms such as Staccato, Atlas Gunworks, Infinity, and other 2011-pattern pistols, this base pad replaces the factory magazine base plate with a precision-machined aluminum extension. The vibrant Bright Blue anodized finish not only provides excellent durability and corrosion resistance but also gives your 2011 a distinctive, professional look that many competitors prefer. Whether you compete in USPSA Carry Optics, Limited Optics, or Open division, the Taran Tactical STVB-4G02 offers the perfect combination of performance and style.

Increased Capacity for 2011 Magazines

The Taran Tactical Base Pad STVB-4G02 is designed to add +2 rounds of 9mm (or 38 Super) to standard 2011-style magazines. This additional capacity allows shooters to carry more ammunition without switching to longer extended magazines, helping reduce the number of reloads needed during a stage. The extra rounds can provide a meaningful advantage in competition, especially in divisions where magazine capacity is limited or where stage design rewards higher round counts.

Beyond the capacity increase, the extended base pad features a larger and more contoured gripping surface. This design allows for a more positive and secure grip when drawing magazines from pouches or during tactical reloads. The improved ergonomics result in faster, smoother magazine changes, helping competitors achieve better stage times and greater consistency throughout a match.

Striking Anodized Bright Blue Finish

The Taran Tactical STVB-4G02 stands out with its vibrant anodized Bright Blue finish. This eye-catching color not only enhances the visual appeal of your 2011 but also provides superior corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The anodized coating is significantly harder and more wear-resistant than standard finishes, ensuring the base pad maintains its bold appearance even after heavy use in competition and training environments.

Many competitive shooters choose the Bright Blue version to create a custom, high-end look that matches their personal style or team colors. The finish is professionally applied and offers excellent resistance to scratches, chemicals, and environmental exposure, making it both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Optimized for 2011 Platform Magazines

The STVB-4G02 is specifically engineered to fit 2011-style double-stack magazines. This makes it compatible with a wide range of popular 2011 pistols, including Staccato, Atlas, Bul Armory, and many custom 2011 builds. The precise fit ensures the base pad installs securely and functions reliably without interfering with magazine insertion or the pistol’s operation.

Whether you’re running a full-size 2011 in Open division or a compact model in Carry Optics, the Taran Tactical Base Pad STVB-4G02 provides a noticeable improvement in both capacity and handling. The design maintains a relatively low profile while still delivering meaningful capacity gains, making it suitable for both competition and practical use.
