Taran Tactical Innovations Firepower Base Pad GBP940-01
The Taran Tactical Innovations Firepower Base Pad GBP940-01 is a high-performance magazine extension designed to increase capacity and improve reload speed on Glock 17, Glock 22, Glock 34, and Glock 35 magazines. Manufactured by Taran Tactical Innovations, a trusted leader in competition shooting accessories, this Firepower series base pad adds +4 rounds of 9mm or +3 rounds of .40 S&W while providing a larger, more ergonomic gripping surface. Whether you compete in USPSA, IDPA, or 3-Gun matches, the GBP940-01 delivers the extra capacity and faster magazine handling that competitive shooters demand.
Engineered with precision and built for durability, the Taran Tactical Firepower Base Pad GBP940-01 replaces the factory Glock base plate with a robust, extended design. The increased length not only boosts round count but also creates a more positive index point for quicker and more reliable magazine changes. This makes the GBP940-01 an essential upgrade for anyone looking to maximize the performance of their Glock 9mm or .40 S&W pistols.
Increased Capacity and Superior Reload Performance
The Taran Tactical Firepower Base Pad GBP940-01 is specifically designed to add meaningful capacity to standard Glock magazines. When installed on a Glock 17 or Glock 34 magazine, it provides an additional +4 rounds of 9mm ammunition. On Glock 22 and Glock 35 magazines, it adds +3 rounds of .40 S&W. This extra ammunition can make a significant difference during competition stages or defensive scenarios where every round counts.
Beyond the capacity increase, the extended base pad features a larger and more textured gripping surface. This design allows shooters to achieve a more secure and confident grip when drawing magazines from pouches or during tactical reloads. The improved ergonomics translate into faster, smoother magazine changes, helping competitors reduce their stage times and improve overall performance.

The robust construction ensures the base pad maintains its shape and function over thousands of rounds and countless reloads.
The base pad features a secure locking mechanism that keeps it firmly attached to the magazine body during rapid fire and vigorous movement. Once installed, it stays in place, eliminating the common issue of factory base plates loosening over time.
