The Taran Tactical Competition Base Pad for Glock 9/40 +3/4 Black GBP940-001 (UPC 810003107831) is a high-performance magazine extension designed by Taran Tactical Innovations to increase the capacity of Glock 9mm and .40 S&W magazines. This competition-oriented base pad adds +3 to +4 rounds while maintaining a relatively compact profile, making it an excellent choice for USPSA, IDPA, and 3-Gun competitors who need extra capacity without the added length of larger extensions. Finished in a clean black color, this TTI base pad delivers reliable feeding, durable construction, and a professional appearance that complements most Glock builds. Whether you’re looking to gain a competitive edge in matches or simply want more rounds available during training, the Taran Tactical Competition Base Pad offers the perfect balance of performance and functionality.

Taran Tactical Innovations is widely regarded as a leader in Glock magazine accessories, and this Competition series base pad continues that reputation with precision engineering and attention to detail.

+3 to +4 Round Capacity Increase

This TTI Competition Base Pad is engineered to add approximately 3 to 4 additional rounds to compatible Glock magazines. The +3/+4 capacity increase provides a meaningful advantage in competition by allowing shooters to carry more ammunition per magazine while keeping the overall length manageable. This makes it easier to perform fast reloads and reduces the total number of magazines needed during a stage compared to using standard factory magazines.

Competition-Focused Design

The Taran Tactical Competition Base Pad is specifically designed with the needs of competitive shooters in mind. Unlike larger +5/+6 or +10 extensions, this +3/+4 model strikes an ideal balance between added capacity and overall magazine length. The shorter extension allows for faster reloads and better concealment when needed, while still providing extra rounds that can make a difference during a match. The design also helps maintain proper spring tension for consistent feeding performance.

Wide Glock Compatibility

This base pad is compatible with a wide range of Glock pistols chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W. It works with popular models including the Glock 17, Glock 19, Glock 22, Glock 23, Glock 34, Glock 35, and many others. Whether you shoot a compact, standard, or long-slide Glock, this TTI base pad offers a versatile upgrade option for increasing magazine capacity.

Durable Construction and Black Finish

Manufactured from high-strength polymer, the TTI Competition Base Pad is built to withstand the demands of competition and hard use. The black finish provides a clean, professional appearance that matches most Glock pistols and tactical gear. The robust construction helps protect the magazine from damage when dropped and maintains its integrity under recoil and repeated use.
