TR Imports Light Super Over/Under Shotgun 28 Gauge 28 Inch Barrel Wood Stock | Lightweight 28ga O/U | Model LS2828 | UPC 812052025982
The TR Imports Light Super Over/Under Shotgun in 28 Gauge is a beautifully crafted, lightweight double-barrel shotgun designed for upland bird hunters and clay target shooters who value balance, swing, and low recoil. This model (LS2828) features a 28-inch barrel, classic wood stock, and a 2-round capacity in a true over/under configuration. Built with the modern shooter in mind, the Light Super combines traditional aesthetics with practical performance in one of the most popular upland gauges available today.
Lightweight Design for All-Day Comfort
One of the standout features of the TR Imports Light Super is its lightweight construction. The 28 gauge platform is already known for being lighter than 12 or 20 gauge shotguns, and TR Imports has further refined this model to reduce overall weight without sacrificing strength or durability. This makes the Light Super an excellent choice for hunters who walk long distances in the field chasing quail, pheasant, grouse, or doves. The reduced weight allows for faster shouldering and smoother swings on crossing targets.
Classic Over/Under Action
The over/under design of the Light Super offers several advantages over side-by-side or semi-automatic shotguns. With two barrels stacked vertically, shooters benefit from a single sight plane and the ability to select different chokes in each barrel. This versatility is especially useful when hunting, as you can have a more open choke in the bottom barrel for close shots and a tighter choke in the top barrel for longer shots. The break-action design is also simple, reliable, and easy to maintain.
28-Inch Barrel for Optimal Performance
The 28-inch barrel length on the Light Super provides an excellent balance between maneuverability and velocity. This length allows the shot to reach optimal speed while still offering quick handling in thick cover or tight shooting lanes. The longer barrel also contributes to a smoother swing, which is critical when engaging fast-moving upland birds or clay targets. Combined with the 28 gauge’s naturally low recoil, this barrel length makes the Light Super comfortable to shoot for extended periods.
Premium Wood Stock and Forend
The Light Super features a handsome wood stock and forend that give it a classic, timeless appearance. The wood not only enhances the shotgun’s aesthetics but also provides a comfortable and secure grip. The stock is designed with proper dimensions for most shooters, promoting consistent shouldering and accurate shooting. The natural grain and finish of the wood add to the overall appeal of this affordable yet well-appointed over/under shotgun.

Why Choose the TR Imports Light Super 28 Gauge O/U?
The TR Imports Light Super offers an outstanding combination of performance, aesthetics, and value in the 28 gauge over/under category. While many premium 28ga O/Us carry high price tags, the Light Super delivers reliable function and classic styling at a more accessible price point. Its lightweight design makes it particularly appealing to hunters who cover a lot of ground, and the 28 gauge platform provides excellent patterns with light recoil. The wood stock gives it a traditional look that many shooters prefer over synthetic alternatives. Whether you’re a dedicated upland hunter, a clay target enthusiast, or someone looking for their first over/under shotgun, the TR Imports Light Super 28ga is a strong contender that won’t disappoint in the field or on the range.
Excellent Handling and Balance
The Light Super is designed with excellent balance and pointability. The 28-inch barrels paired with the lightweight receiver allow the shotgun to come to the shoulder quickly and swing smoothly through targets. This handling characteristic is especially valuable when hunting fast-flushing birds or shooting sporting clays courses that require rapid target transitions.
Affordable Entry into Over/Under Shotguns
For many shooters, the TR Imports Light Super represents an affordable way to own a true over/under shotgun. It provides the benefits of two barrels and selectable chokes without the high cost associated with European-made O/Us. This makes it an excellent choice for new shooters or those who want a dedicated 28 gauge without a large investment.
