Slim-profile, extended release lever eliminates wasted time and motion by allowing the shooter to operate the bolt release with their trigger finger while keeping their hand on the pistol grip in the ready position. Fingertip operated portion protrudes through and is positioned just outside the triggerguard. An upward push on the lever locks the bolt rearward; a downward press releases it. Keeps non-weapon hand free to speed reloads and to address jams or other possible malfunctions. Attaches to the existing factory bolt release.
